Blurb for Annalise Grey’s Story

I figured I would write about my writing since that is the other reason why I started my blog up again. I came up with a blurb. I am still fleshing out characters and the outline but this is what I have come up with so far:

Her latest attempt at peace comes in the form of a crumbling four-story bar in the heart of a Houston safe zone, where humans and supernaturals cling to a delicate truce amid a post-apocalyptic world warped by magic. She plans to make it a sanctuary—one drink, one rule, and one shattered illusion at a time.

But peace doesn’t come easy when chaos has a taste for you.

When a string of gruesome murders pushes the city’s factions toward all-out war, whispers of an ancient threat rise from the shadows. The killer’s message is clear: Annalise’s power is the key to his godhood, and he’ll burn the fragile order of the city to the ground to claim it. With tensions boiling over, Annalise must step out of the shadows and into a dangerous game where every choice costs more than blood.

As factions turn on her and Death looms closer with every decision, Annalise must decide what she’s willing to sacrifice to stop a killer who mirrors everything she fears about herself. Can she hold onto her humanity—or will she become the monster she was born to be?
