Yummo NO PEEK Beef Tips and Pasta!

I mentioning, YET AGAIN, that Pinterest ROCKS!! Lol, I have found another winner recipe that the whole family loves. Above is all you need too. I love taking pics so people can just follow along and not get confused. Helps me immensely! So, back to what I was saying... All you will need is this: 2 lbs beef tips, stew meat, chuck roast or chuck eye, cubed, 1-10.5 can of cream of mushroom soup, 1-packet of brown gravy mix, 1-packet of Lipton dry onion soup mix, 1 cup water OR ginger ale soda. On mine I used water. I hear the soda makes it taste a little sweeter. Haven't tried it though to know. And lastly, (optional) 4 oz mushrooms. (really you can use as much of this as u like. Don't know why they called only for 4 oz. You can add also, onions and bell pepper too if you would like to. I didn't because I knew the kids wouldn't go for whatever green stuff was in their food, lol! Oh, and preheat your oven to 300 degrees please!
Doesn't this just look pretty? Lol, don't know why but I think so. Anyway, Put Ur meat in a 9X11-13" cooking dish and then sprinkle the onion soup mix all onto the meat.
THEN, in a separate bowl, put in Ur cream of mushroom soup.
Then add Ur packet of brown gravy mix in with the cream of mushroom soup.
Then add Ur 1 cup water OR ginger ale soda. Either or, choice is Ur's;)
BLEND!!!!
This is how I did MY mushrooms. (So the kids wouldn't notice as much and would eat it.) If you want you can just pour them from a can or chop Ur own up and add to the recipe.
Here's the mixture from the bowl.
Here it is after I added the chopped mushrooms.
THEN, and this is the kicker...COVER IT UP AND NO PEEKING!!! This will be how it cooks so don't let any of the hot air out by peeking!! Put it in Ur pre-heated oven of 300 degrees for 3 hours.
I made these type noodles but any will do. Boil in water for only 8 mins and they're done.
The finished product. And BOY does this dish make Ur house smell WONDERFUL!!!!
And here you have it. Now...The sooner you dish it out the runnier it is, that's why it's in a bowl. You let it cool a bit the gravy thickens a little enough for a plate. Either way it makes enough for the family with "just enough" for hubby to have a small meal of it tonight maybe with a side. They didn't last night because no one saw it to eat it because that's all they wanted was the beef tips, lol!
And THIS is helping me A WHOLE BUNCH with my quitting smoking, lol! I don't know if Tim is still liking me being in the kitchen as much as I am now but it works SUPER for me! Now....If I could just quit sampling the food???? Hmmm....we'll see;)

On a side note, Tim is taking us all on a ski trip to Ruidosa, New Mexico next month for him and Sam's birthdays. One will be the HUGE 18 and the other will be a sexy-fied 44! I swear she's looking older and HE is looking younger...So not fair..Anyway, Will is excited to be skiing again. Sam will snow board again and I may try that. I skied the last few times so I want to try something different. Sam is bringing her friend Kari along so they should have lots of fun. ANNNND, U can gamble when Ur 18 SOO may have to stop by the casino and let her try it out a time or two just to say she did. Me and Will can go look for something to EAT while the 18 and over crowd go at it with all the other gamble-holics, lol!

THEN, this May my best friend and I will be taking Sam and hopefully two of her best buds on a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico. Oh the girls are excited. For the past 4 years I've told Sam if she made it to graduation I would take her on a senior trip and this is what she wanted. The girls also know that in Mexico the legal age is 18 to drink. How WEIRD will it be pulling up to the bar and buyin my KID a shot for as a "salute" to her biggest milestone to date? Well it WILL stop at just one shot though....I ain't into drinking anymore and I would be puking and embarrassing quicker than they would be I'm sure, lol! And yes, there will be LOTS of EATING and taking pictures!!!!
